I am a dedicated industrial engineer with a passion for digital technologies, entrepreneurship, and interdisciplinary problem-solving. My course of action is driven by strong values, and the commitment to positively contribute to our global community. With my visionary, offbeat thinking, I constantly strive to shift boundaries and challenge the status quo.
Elisa is a doctoral researcher at the Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge. Her research focusses on the impact of operator assistance systems in production. Elisa has a degree in industrial engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany.
Currently, she is active as a Global Shaper from the World Economic Forum's Young Leaders Community. She has been active with Engineers without Borders Germany coordinating a water infrastructure and microfinance project in Kenya.
She has been involved in technology consulting, technical product innovation, and business development functions in corporations, start-ups, and SMEs, including McKinsey&Company, STABILO, Share4good, and MWH Global. Moreover, she is a scholar of the Foundation of German Business (sdw), an honorary scholar of the Cambridge Trust, and recently received the "Next Generation Women Leaders Award" by McKinsey&Company.”
