Sabine Moebs was appointed professor to the Cooperative State University Baden Wuerttemberg, Germany in July 2013. She received her PhD from Dublin City University in 2011, her MSc (Res) in Learning Technologies from the National College of Ireland/HEA in 2008 and her BA (hons) in Business Administration from the Open University, UK and her Diploma (BA) in Business Informatics from the Cooperative State University Baden Wuerttemberg, Germany in 2002. She was an Irish Research Council (IRC) Postdoctoral Fellow in collaboration with an Irish SME, FluidRock at the Digital Hub, and Dublin City University from July 2011 to July 2013. Before coming to Ireland she has been involved in founding three SMEs in Germany and Switzerland in the IT and the regional development sector. Her experience extends to South and East Africa and she is currently focusing on Research-SME collaboration opportunities between German SMEs with Universities and SMEs in Africa.
