Bio:

Alena is a consultant, trainer and workshop facilitator. She conducts assessments and analyzes and develops strategies in gender, interculturality and partnership for organizations of the international development cooperation and international businesses.

Alena is also a researcher at the Center of Development Studies at University of Louvain (UCLouvain). She studies and publishes on solutions for a more inclusive and efficient cooperation between civil society organizations from the Global South(s) and their donors in the context of the bi- and multilateral development cooperation, especially in the field of women's rights and gender equality.

As a woman and mother, Alena is also committed to gender equality within academia. She is fluent in German, French and English.
