Main focus: Intercultural Competencies
Languages: German, English
Country: Austria
Topics: migration, islam, diversity
In 2008 I migrated from Tirol to Vienna and studies Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Vienna and at the University of Exeter, UK. I traveled the Middle East before the region was described as unstable in the media because of the Arab Spring. My most favorite places are the dome of the rocks in Jerusalem and riding a horse in the desert surrounding the pyramids in Egypt. In 2014 we founded the non-governmental, non-profit organisation Ceurabics in Vienna. We foster the personal contact between migrants from the Middle East and Austrians. Moreover, we hold workshops in order to enhance intercultural competencies and the MENA region.
